Lainnir Natural Products, Grass Roots, Anarres Natural Health, The Laundry Tarts, Soleado

Alright, now that I've gone through the bedrooms and the playroom and got rid of most of the stuff that we think we aren't going to use anymore and, proudly, sent them off to various charities (okay it's not all gone yet, but it's going to happen soon!) We are ready to start cleaning!!! I can't believe I have gotten myself into this...

Soleado is one of our vendors and they have some great stuff. Everything they offer is sourced domestically and is organic! They've got everything from Tub Scrub to Organic Cotton Dish Clothes. Soleado will be at the Children's Trunk Show on Wednesday May 12th from 9:30am until 4:30pm in the Distillery in the Fermenting Cellar. It's an amazing venue, Susan and I will try and make a day of it!  If you plan to pick up some stuff then, you can put off the Spring cleaning for another few weeks! Works for me!

Laundry Tarts is another company we are proud to say are a vendor of ours. This is an amazing product! How cool do you have to be to make laundry detergent seem cool?! Pretty cool!! Their products are all natural, energy efficient machine safe. They don't have any of the bad stuff in them and are 100% vegan and biodegradable! They have, I want to say flavours, but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to eat it, called "Key Lime Pie Laundry Detergent" and "Vanilla Dulce" Yummy! Their website is under construction right now so give them a shout at gypsyrose@thelaundrytarts.com  I'm also pretty sure you shouldn't give your Mom laundry detergent for Mother's Day but if you were going to give any, this would be the stuff to give her!

Anarres Natural Health Clinic has a great idea on making cleaning fun! DIY Natural Cleaning Parties! They were developed by Women's Voices for the Earth, working to educate consumers about chemicals in cleaning products. You go home with your very own set of easy-to-make cleaning products, with recipes! Sounds like fun to me!

Grassroots Environmental Products is at 408 Bloor St. West in Toronto. They carry both local (Nature Cleam and Hempola) and globally sourced cleaning options as well as a whole bunch of other environmentally-friendly products. They also have monthly showcases of local artists! How great is that?! They have another  location at 372 Danforth Ave at Chester.

Now last, but certainly not least, I must mention Lainnir natural products. They are natural cleaners manufactured in Toronto! There are shower glass cleaners, tub & tile and cooktop cleaners. They can be found at Home Hardware, Bed Bath & Beyond and Peaches & Green the Natural Solution.

Alright people, let's get cleaning! Not yet though, it's time to enjoy the day! It is beautiful out there!

  1. Actually, some of what gets smeared on bathroom taps and the top of vanity units is cleaning products:
toothpaste and soap. All you need to do to remove this is give it a good rub with a damp flannel or cloth and it
    comes away easily ...
    cleaning products
