Binksy & Bobo product launch

Susan and I were lucky enough to get invited to the new product launch at Binksy & Bobo. Katrina, the brains behind the operation was due at any moment with her 2nd child, just finishing up a reno on the house, so why not launch a new product line and throw a party? Right?

Binksy & Bobo made a name for themselves in 2009 when Katrina came out with the shopping cart covers. She also has an amazing line of reversible clothing for kids and babies and lots of other accessories.

They had the cutest fashion show ever! All these darling little girls dressed up in their Binksy & Bobo creations strutting their stuff on an outdoor runway. The rain held off for the show and we were able to learn a little bit more about Binksy & Bobo and what Katrina is trying to do.
At first glance the "dresses" are absolutely adorable. They are cut beautifully, and made with rich, retro inspired fabrics. Katrina doesn't do a spring/summer and fall/winter line because these "dresses" are so versatile. They are sleeveless so they can be worn in the summer as is or in the colder months with a t-shirt or turtleneck underneath. They have several styles with adjustable necklines or straps so that they can grow with your child AND they can be worn on their own as a dress or over jeans. Did I mention they are reverible?! Added to this years collection is a ruffle top and a bubble skirt that no little girl is going to be able to resist.

Oh! Baby magazine was there and so was Slice TV. There were fabulous gift bags, and giveaways and lots of great eats and drinks. Is there nothing this lady can't do?!

Honestly, I wish my girls were still small enough to some of these adorable creations!
