Wisedaughters Craft Market

Wise Daughters Craft Market, owned by Mary Breen, is a wonderful source of local handcrafted finds located on Dundas Street west in the fun Junction neighbourhood of Toronto. Mary sells amazing artisanal jewellery, gifts and household items - from Coy Clothes aprons to Vintage Baby Revival knits. The downstairs space is used for a variety of workshops that are inspiring and informative, as well as fun. Mary has an amazing array of new workshops posted for burgeoning crafters and for experienced crafters who want to take their passion to the next level as a business. Shirley started knitting there and I enjoyed learning the ins and outs of how craft based businesses could sell their wares. And besides, who couldn't use this moose in their library? Learn how at Wisedaughters on Saturday September 17, 2-5 pm. For those of us not going back to school, taking a class on Saturday sounds like fun. For this and other workshops, click on this link to Wisedaughter's 100 Mile Finds page to register directly.
